Introduction to Chen’s Tai Chi

Chen’s Tai Chi Quan originated from Chen Jia Gou in Henan Province, China. It is one of the earliest forms of Tai Chi Quan. Compared with the common and slow move, Chen’s Tai Chi Quan goes from slow to fast, and then slow again. ‘.Start from looseness and softness again, emphasizing ‘the accumulation of softness into rigidity, the combination of rigidity and softness’. Alternating fast and slow is to take into account two different training methods, aerobic and anaerobic. Combining rigidity and softness is to increase muscle endurance and improve joint flexibility. All movements must be coordinated with breathing during practice to improve the value of health and fitness.

Chen’s Tai Chi Quan is based on the principle of standing upright and supporting on all sides. The core muscles of the abdomen are used as the driving force. It actively stretches the back spine, which is the main support of the human body. It can correct the curved body shape and reduce the back of the human body. burden. The movements of Chen’s Tai Chi Quan are composed of curved, arc-shaped and spiral movements. It is also the so-called “winding silk strength”. From the appearance, it is to twist and twist the limbs in an arc-shaped spiral, thus forming a series of infinitely extended and complex spatial spiral exercises. From the point of view of fitness, this exercise mainly exercises the two most important ball joints of the body-shoulder joints and hip joints.
