DACA Youth Group visited Waterford Senior Center
Youth Group visited Waterford Senior Center recently. The youth performed Tai Chi fan, and demonstrated Kung Fu for the seniors. The teens prepared Chinese Knots and passed red-envelopes during the visit to share the joy of the Chinese New Year with residents at the senior center.
Our next event will be participating Frank Nicholas Elementary’s World Culture Fair on 3/24.
DACA Youth Group is open to all high school students in the Greater Dayton Area, and we are always excited to see new faces. Our mission is to provide our youth with opportunities to promote Chinese culture, instill an ethic of community service, and encourage life-long friendships, all while having fun! Contact our board director Marsha Markert if you are interested in becoming a member of the Youth Group.
