我们华人协会为了活跃社区生活、增进社群联络，决定于2025年8月8日至9日举办DACA夏季露营活动。这个大家喜闻乐见的传统项目是疫情后首度恢复举办。继7/11预告了本次活动后，今将细节通知如下：
时间：8/8周五下午三点起，至8/10周日中午止。
地点：Caesar Creek State Park （凯撒溪州立公园位于 Dayton 南偏东约20 miles 处)。公园办公室：8570 OH-73, Waynesville, OH 45068
我们的露营点：Hickory Overlook Group Camp Site（湖中半岛处的集体露营场地）， 其定位经纬点是：39.503053, -84.033303 （或者39°30’11.0″N 84°01’59.9″W）

露营地基本情况：
1、固定设施齐全，包括大野餐棚、野餐桌(12张)、烧烤架、篝火盆、冲水厕等。不提供电力和饮用水。场地平整，限定人数：每晚60人。
2、公园范围很大，另有许多活动场所如：访客中心及小博物馆、游泳沙滩、徒步健行路线、划船、垂钓（需持有或购买执照）等等。餐馆超市不在近处。但若需要，也不是太远，不超过半小时车程。露营基本是体验野外生活的机会，有个性化的特点，但同时又是令人难忘的友情机会。根据经验，大家可以一起交流、彼此照顾、分享食物、结伴活动如钓鱼、健步、游戏等。也欢迎各位提供活动创意！

3、公园提供的仅是场地及固定设施，所有自用的帐篷、器材、物料、食材、饮食均需自备。个人要根据停留天数和活动的项目内容，搭配生活用品、个人用品、卫生保健用品，带足合适的消耗品等。特别是食物、饮用水和餐具、炊具等。
补充说明：如果有多人希望DACA提供帐篷租用（注：此选项视需求再决定，拟提供2X2米的三人小帐篷，每次$10/一晚或两晚。此帐篷费不在下述活动费用内），我们也会顺应需要和报名情况，及时Email通知。希望尽早在报名时的活动计划中勾选此项需要。
露营的费用情况：
1、本次DACA 暑期夏季露营的具体时间是：2025年8月8日周五下午3点，至周日10日中午必须离营并恢复营地原样。这次露营时间我们从传统的七月移到立秋之后，开学季之前，夜间平均气温一般在65F（23C），天气既不冷又进入了蚊虫不活跃期，也是英仙座流星群活跃期。现在也是帐篷等露营器材开始进入降价促销季。
2、按惯例DACA 负担全部的场地租用费用。此处为集体营地，每晚限定人数：60人（公园别处另有普通单元营地，每帐篷两晚$48–$74）。DACA并提供饮用水、西瓜、急救包以及一些必要的集体费用等。其他都是发挥大家的能动性和合作性。DACA会员及家庭全免费，非会员酌收少量活动费用（家庭$10，单身$5），（*DACA义工收到电邮者有额外优惠）。所有参加者可参加任意一晚或两晚，费用一样。继续欢迎新会员加入。报名等链接见下一条。

In order to liven up community life and enhance community connections, our Chinese Association has decided to hold a DACA summer camping event from August 8 to 9, 2025. This traditional event that everyone loves is the first time to be resumed after the epidemic. After the announcement of this event on 7/11, the details are hereby notified as follows:

Basic information of the camping site:
1. Complete fixed facilities, including large picnic shelter, picnic tables (12), barbecue grills, campfire pots, flush toilets, etc. Electricity and drinking water are not provided. The site is flat and the number of people is limited: 60 people per night.
2. The park is very large, and there are many other activity venues such as: visitor center and small museum, swimming beach, hiking trails, boating, fishing (must hold or purchase a license), etc. Restaurants and supermarkets are not nearby. But if necessary, it is not too far, no more than half an hour’s drive. Camping is basically an opportunity to experience outdoor life, with personalized characteristics, but at the same time it is an unforgettable opportunity for friendship. According to experience, everyone can communicate, take care of each other, share food, and do activities together such as fishing, walking, and games. You are also welcome to provide activity ideas!

3. The park only provides venues and fixed facilities. All tents, equipment, materials, ingredients, and food for self-use must be prepared by yourself. Individuals should match daily necessities, personal items, and health care products according to the number of days they stay and the content of the activities, and bring enough suitable consumables. Especially food, drinking water, tableware, cooking utensils, etc.
Camping costs:
1. The specific time for this DACA summer camping is: Friday, August 8, 2025 at 3 pm, and must leave the camp and restore the camp to its original state by noon on Sunday 10th. This time, we moved the camping time from the traditional July to after the beginning of autumn, before the start of the school season. The average night temperature is generally 65F (23C). The weather is not cold and mosquitoes are not active. This is also the period when the Perseid meteor shower is active. Now is also the season for tents and other camping equipment to enter the price reduction promotion.
2. As usual, DACA will bear all the site rental costs. This is a collective camp, with a limited number of people per night: 60 (there are other ordinary unit camps elsewhere in the park, each tent costs $48–$74 for two nights). DACA also provides drinking water, watermelons, first aid kits, and some necessary collective expenses. The rest is to give full play to everyone’s initiative and cooperation. DACA members and families are free, and non-members are charged a small fee (family $10, single $5). （*DACA volunteers who receive emails will receive additional benefits.） All participants can participate in any one or two nights, and the fee is the same.
